Ink and wash on paper, unsigned, with an unidentified collector's mark lower left.

Note: In Roman mythology, the figure of Janus represented beginnings and endings, as well as gates, doorways and transitions. The figure is usually presented with two faces, as here, one looking to the future, the other towards the past.
Staining, foxing and soiling. A split and several tiny losses at the lower left corner. Not examined out of frame.
