Note: Andy Warhol took a series of polaroid photos of John Richardson as part of his preparation to paint the portrait of Richardson that is now in the collection of the Tate in London. Richardson told New York Magazine in 2014 that he found the polaroids in the back of a drawer and had this one blown up and framed. The version here is a copy.
